Couldn't tell you but I'd assume there was some (maybe plenty) cross coverage.
I've been reading a bit and have never heard of any notable changes in the engine's design.
What's your situation? How are you zooming around now if you have no valve cover?
If the PCV has stripped out you may be able to swaddle the effected area with PC-7 or steel putty to get the PCV to stay put.
....or hit the online parts houses. ...or learn to weld sheet metal ...or resort to an aftermarket "glamor valve cover" if you're in a pinch.

Hi, Is there any way i can restore or fix up the rusty valve cover? There are none to be found anywhere to purchase accept for a junkyard. . Its not leaking, looks damp, but its pretty ratty as shown in photo. Im thinking of removing it, sanding it down , and repainting it etc. Some Help Please.

I'd go with a high heat paint. Many auto stores stock it.
Red, black and white are the most commonly available. Online, who knows?
As with all paint jobs (and darn near everything else in this world) prep is key.
Be glad your PCV valve socket is intact.
Epoxy paints vary tremendously and that's all I know about them. I'd bet you don't need nor want to deal with the learning curve.

If "damp spots" means the metal is corroded through (as in HOLES) then no finishing technique will work. I'd have holes brazed closed.
Powder coating isn't particularly strong and I don't know how it takes to heat. I think it'd flex and crack/peel at the bolt flange.
Keep this one simple.....remove, clean real well, and final rinse with alcohol. Be glad it's under the hood of a non-show vehicle.

Further info here to anyone seeking the drivers side 4.0 OHC Valve Cover: A decent mechanic friend of mine said if you can't find the drivers side valve cover, you can use the passengers side valve cover as well. You will just have two oil fill outlets and no PCV inlet. He said It has the same bolt patterns. I wonder if that's possible. Interesting to say the least anyways..

How did this turn out for you? I have the exact same issue, except mines already pushing out oil, so hoping this alternative cover you found would work for me.

It worked out awesome. Go check on eBay , that's where I finally found it, you may also find one there eventually. Also call or check junkyards throughout the USA, it's worth a try.
**Someone had said you could possibly use the passengers side valve cover for that engine, but this I'm not sure of, you'd definitely have to research that yourself, especially because you would now have 2 oil refill ports if so.
Search eBay item # 256407496449
